Daily
Living Skills, located at our main Valparaiso facility, offers a wide variety of opportunities
to learn basic daily life skills for individuals
with multiple or severe disabilities. Individuals
participate in goal oriented activities that enhance
the quality of life by working on:
• Social interaction skills
• Communication skills
• Perceptual skills (visual, auditory, olfactory and
tactile stimulation)
• Mobility and motor skills
• Recreational and leisure activities

of programs, designed to fit
the needs of individuals with

or severe disabilities. Individuals participate in a goal oriented curriculum that promotes life-long learning through activities such as recreation, arts and crafts, reading and communication, cooking, money and math skills, music, and much more.
