Supervised Living or Group Homes

Opportunity Enterprises, Inc. currently operates seven group homes dedicated to serving individuals with a range of mild to severe and profound developmental disabilities. The homes provide a natural, non-clinical setting to foster a sense of familial comfort and stability for our residents. The group homes currently support six residents per home, to optimize opportunities for individual and group training in areas of daily living, leisure skills, and community integration. In addition, Opportunity Enterprises supports individuals in group homes with additional medical and nutritional support.

Supported Living Program

Our Supported Living Program provides support to adults with disabilities who want to live in their own apartment or home without mom or dad. Participants receive support services on an as-needed basis through individualized programs developed and implemented to meet specific needs.

Trained and certified staff focus on consumer independence through choice and empowerment. Consumers are supported from as little as 2 hours a week to 24 hours a day. This program takes a team approach to the entire consumer’s life, making it as enriching and fulfilling as possible. Community integration and establishing sound relationships are the key to our consumers' successes.

Respite Services

Respite Services are designated by the State to be, ‘relief of the primary caregiver.’ Because we are OE, we do more than just provide relief. We believe that staff are mentors and teachers and that time with consumers is the opportunity to promote growth and independence.  Our service is innovative and unique as we provide drop off service at our Respite Home 24 hours a day. We offer drop off / pick up service at our OE Main facility until 8pm during the week and our Lakeside Facility is open from 8am – 8pm daily. We are the only provider in the area that offers  the convenience of providing Respite Services in places other than your home.
