Opportunity Enterprises' Self-Advocates Hosting Breakfast at Applebee's

PRESS RELEASE June 30, 2008 Contact: Kimberly Tomkiewicz Communications Specialist 219-464-9621 ext. 299 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Opportunity Enterprises' Self-Advocates Hosting Breakfast at Applebee's Valparaiso, IN - Enjoy a fantastic breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee and juice on Saturday, July 19 from 8-10 AM at the Valparaiso Applebee's in support of Opportunity Enterprises' Self-Advocate client group. Tickets are $6 per person and a portion of all ticket sales will go towards the Self-Advocate's program initiatives. The Self-Advocates at Opportunity Enterprises are members of a state and nationwide organization comprised of citizens with disabilities. The OE Self-Advocates members promote equal rights, respect and dignity for individuals with disabilities through educational initiatives. Members attend bi-weekly chapter meetings, quarterly statewide meetings and annual national conferences. Since 1967, OE has been a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency and life choices for challenged individuals.
