For Immediate Release: Opportunity Enterprises announces Boyt as new Board of Directors member and Rhoades as Vice President Consumer Services
Thomas Boyt, Dean of the College of Business Administration at Valparaiso University, has joined the Board of Directors at Opportunity Enterprises, Inc. Prior to coming to Valparaiso University he was Dean of the College of Business Administration for three years at the University of Central Oklahoma. Prior to that he was the Chair of the Marketing Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and from 1980 to 1990 he owned and managed a veterinary hospital in Oklahoma. He maintains his license to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma and Colorado.
Colleen Rhoades, Opportunity Enterprises Director of Residential Services, has been promoted and named Vice President Consumer Services. She will oversee Opportunity Enterprises day services and residential programs. Rhoades began her career at OE in 1997 as the Social Services Administrator and in1999 became the Director of Adult Services. Upon receiving a BA degree from Purdue and prior to joining the OE staff, she worked for family and children services in Starke County and Jasper Counties.
