Callout Meeting for OE Popcorn Panic Team

PRESS RELEASE Contact: Allison Thomas, 219-464-9621 For Immediate Release: Callout Meeting for OE Popcorn Panic Team A callout meeting for the Opportunity Enterprises OE Popcorn Panic Team will be held at 6:00 p.m., June 3, at Opportunity Enterprises, 2801 Evans Avenue, Valparaiso. The Popcorn Panic Team trains runners or walkers, with little or no experience in either sport, to complete the Popcorn Panic 5-mile race on September 6, 2008. Registration for the Popcorn Panic program requires a $25 registration fee at the time of registration and a commitment to raise an additional $125 for Opportunity Enterprises, Inc. There are many benefits in being part of the OE Popcorn Panic Team including weekly group training runs/walks which incorporate the walk/run training method, complimentary race entry, a pasta dinner the night before the race, and prizes for the top money raisers. In 2007, nearly 60 runners took part in the Popcorn Panic Team program.
