For Immediate Release:
Opportunity Enterprises Family and Friends Together to Focus on Third Party/Family Special Needs Trusts
Family members of individuals with disabilities will learn how to provide for the future of their loved ones by using a special needs trust. William Trowbridge, Vice President/Trust Officer of 1st Source Bank and Board Member for Opportunity Enterprises (OE), and Melissa Justice, Trust Director for the ARC of Indiana, will discuss the basics and the benefits of third party/special needs trusts during their presentation at the OE Family and Friends Together meeting on Monday, May 19, 6.30 p.m. at OE.
This presentation is part of an initiative, hosted by Opportunity Enterprises, and it is open to the public and family members of persons with special needs. The OE Family and Friends Together meeting will be held 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 19, at Opportunity Enterprises, 2801 Evans Avenue, Valparaiso. Please go to the North Entrance, #4 (far Northeast entrance) for the meeting.
In order to reach as many parents and friends as possible, we "Ask Each One to Reach One," encouraging all parents to bring a friend or another parent to the meeting in order to pass information to as many people as possible. Guests are welcome at this event.
The Family and Friends Together meetings are part of an Opportunity Enterprises initiative, Family and Consumer Supports. The program will provide support for parents, siblings, guardians and friends of consumers, as well as an outlet to be actively engaged with loved ones. It was created by Opportunity Enterprises as it prepares for the increasing number of challenged individuals seeking services as they transition into new programs, the community or the workforce. The objective of this program is to better serve current and potential OE consumer families by sharing resources, information and volunteer opportunities. Family and Consumer Supports
