OE has a long history in Northwest Indiana, with decades of service for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While much has changed since we first opened our doors in 1967, our commitment to creating inclusive and equitable opportunities for people of all abilities has stayed the same.
Today, OE serves over a thousand people each year with a suite of programs and services.
Through educational curriculum, vocational training and placement, respite and so much more, our goal is to create a community where everyone is included, and their strengths celebrated.
